Description

Chicago: Pascal Covici, 1925. First edition. Hardcover. 265 pp. About very good, in very good unclipped jacket. Bumped corners. Newspaper clipped attached to front pastedown, toned and lightly toning front free endpaper. Bookplate on verso of front free endpaper and previous owner's name on front flyleaf. Title page uncut from dedication page at fore edge. Jacket has minor edge wear with a couple small closed tears to front panel bottom edge. Inscribed by author, Charles Collins, to previous owner on front free endpaper.

Books are best ordered via the online process here, but may also be reserved by telephone or email. All books are subject to prior sale. Please include your phone number and address with your order. Payment can be made by credit card or, if preferred, by check or money order. Libraries and institutions may submit purchase orders and/or be billed, according to preference. Reciprocal courtesies extended to dealers.

Packaging/Packing

We take great pride in the professionalism of our packing:
  • All books are carefully cleaned;
  • Books with jackets are fitted with new mylar wraps;
  • Hardcover books without jackets may, as appropriate, be fitted with custom Dura Lar wraps;
  • Each book is sealed in a poly bag to protect from rubbing and moisture;
  • All books are shipped in new boxes - "Multi D" book boxes for single volumes, double-walled corrugated boxes for larger volumes and sets.

Shipping

Our default shipping method is USPS Media Mail for domestic orders, USPS First-Class Mail International for international orders. If you require or prefer an alternative class of shipment, please specify or request. Books within the United States are shipped FREE for orders $25 and above (expedited delivery free for orders over $100).

International buyers, please request a shipping quote - we charge actual postage only to your ship-to address; we do not charge for materials or "handling".
